Landing in Buffalo on a Game Day

Your Flight Is Tracked

We watch your inbound flight and adjust the pickup to the actual landing time, not the one printed on your ticket.

No Parking Pass Needed

Every Bills lot is prepaid and sells out ahead of the game. Arriving by taxi means there is nothing to buy and no lot to find.

No Rental Car for One Day

A rental you use twice still costs you a counter queue, a full day of hire, fuel, and a parking pass you probably cannot get.

Flat $75, No Surge

The fare is fixed when you book. It does not move for a night game, a division rival, or a delayed flight.

Buffalo Airport to Highmark Stadium

Highmark Stadium is in Orchard Park, roughly 15 miles south of Buffalo Niagara International Airport. On a normal day that is a 25 to 30 minute drive. On a game day, allow closer to 45 once traffic builds on the approach. The flat rate is $75 per vehicle, fixed when you book.

Most visiting fans are not going straight from the jet bridge to their seat. They are landing on the Saturday or the morning of the game, checking into a hotel downtown or near the airport, going to the stadium, and flying out afterwards or the next morning. We handle those legs as separate bookings so each one has its own confirmed driver and time.

The reason this route exists as a booked ride rather than an improvised one is parking. Every Bills lot at the new stadium is prepaid, with no cash or credit sales on game day, and season passes sold out through the team. If you are landing in Buffalo without a pass already in hand, driving yourself is not really an option. There is more detail on that, and on the alternatives, on our Bills game transportation hub.

Flying Into Buffalo for a Bills Game

Very few visiting fans stay in Orchard Park itself. Most end up downtown, near the airport in Cheektowaga, out in Amherst or Williamsville, or across in Niagara Falls if they are making a weekend of it. That means the trip from BUF is usually more than one ride.

A typical weekend runs airport to hotel on arrival, hotel to the stadium on game day, stadium back to the hotel afterwards, and hotel to the airport at the end. Each of those is its own flat rate and its own confirmed booking, so nothing depends on finding a car at the moment you need one.

If you are staying on the Canadian side, the trip works differently, because you are adding a border crossing in each direction on top of stadium traffic. We run that route as its own service.

Straight to the Game, or Hotel First

If you are travelling light, going straight from the airport to the stadium is the simplest version. You land, your driver is waiting, and you are at the gates inside about 45 minutes. Some passengers do the whole thing in a day, flying in that morning and back out to BUF after the game, without ever checking into a hotel.

If you have luggage, the hotel comes first. That is booked as two rides, airport to hotel and then hotel to the stadium, each at its own flat rate rather than one fare with a stop in the middle. It costs more than a single leg, but it is the version that actually works, and it gives you somewhere to leave a bag and change before kickoff.

Which one suits you is mostly a question of what time you land and what you are carrying. Tell us your flight and your kickoff when you book and we will say plainly whether the direct version leaves you enough margin.

Flight Tracking and What Happens If You Are Late

We track your inbound flight and set the pickup against the actual landing time. A short delay is absorbed without you needing to do anything, and there is no extra charge for it. That is standard on every airport booking we take, not something specific to game day.

What flight tracking cannot do is move kickoff. If your flight lands two hours late on a Sunday afternoon, the ride still works but the plan around it may not, and that is a conversation rather than an automatic adjustment. We will get you to Orchard Park, but you may be arriving during the game rather than before it.

If your arrival is tight against kickoff, say so at booking. It is usually worth building the itinerary around an earlier flight than around a hopeful connection, and if your schedule slips badly we would rather re-plan the day with you than have you land to a driver holding a plan that no longer works.

What to Do With Your Luggage

If you are carrying nothing more than a jacket and a phone, go straight to the stadium. That is the common case for a same-day trip, and it is the one that needs no planning at all.

If you have suitcases, they need to go to your hotel first. Highmark Stadium runs a restricted bag policy like every NFL venue, so a suitcase is not coming in with you, and your driver does not stay in Orchard Park during the game, so the vehicle is not a place to leave things. Book the airport to hotel leg and the hotel to stadium leg as two rides.

Anything more involved than that, a stop on the way, several addresses, or a group splitting across hotels, is worth a quick conversation rather than a guess. Call or message us for a custom quote, or use the live chat on this site and we will price it properly.

Planning the Flight Out

Two patterns cover most visiting fans. Either you fly out the same evening, which means going from the stadium straight to BUF, or you stay the night and leave the next morning from your hotel. Both are normal bookings and both are worth reserving before you travel rather than after the final whistle.

The same-evening version is the one to think hardest about. Getting out of Orchard Park after a game is slow by design, so a flight with a tight check-in is a real risk. Tell us your departure time when you book the return and we will set the pickup against it, and say honestly if we think it is too tight.

The next-morning version is easier, and it is the same airport transfer we run every day of the year. If you are heading to Niagara Falls or into Canada instead of flying home, we cover those routes too.

Common Questions

The flat rate is $75 per vehicle from Buffalo Niagara International Airport to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. It is fixed when you book and does not change for night games, playoff games, or weather.

Normally 25 to 30 minutes for the roughly 15 mile trip, and closer to 45 minutes on game day once traffic builds around the stadium. If you are landing the morning of a game, allow extra time.

Yes. We track your inbound flight and set the pickup against the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one. Short delays are absorbed at no extra charge. A long delay may mean re-planning the rest of your day, which we will do with you.

Yes, and that is the simplest version if you are travelling light. Some passengers fly in the morning of a game, go straight to Orchard Park, and fly back out of BUF afterwards without checking into a hotel at all.

If you have suitcases, they go to your hotel first. The stadium runs a restricted bag policy, and your driver does not stay in Orchard Park during the game, so the vehicle is not somewhere to leave bags. Book the airport to hotel leg and the hotel to stadium leg as two rides.

A hotel stop is booked as two separate rides rather than one fare with a stop in the middle, each at its own flat rate. If you need multiple stops or several addresses, call, message, or use the live chat on this site for a custom quote.

No. A parking pass is only needed if you are parking a vehicle. That matters at the new stadium, because all Bills lots are prepaid, season passes sold out, and there are no cash or credit sales on game day.

Yes. The return is a second booking at the same flat rate, arranged for a set time and meeting point agreed in advance rather than requested from the lot afterwards. Book it at the same time as your arrival, because game-day availability is limited.

It is possible, but plan it carefully. Traffic leaving Orchard Park after a game is slow, so a tight check-in is a real risk. Tell us your departure time when you book the return and we will set the pickup against it and tell you honestly if it looks too tight.

Up to ten. A sedan seats four, a minivan six, and groups of eight to ten travel in two vans together. Pricing is per vehicle, so a group splits one fare rather than paying per person.
