Toronto to Buffalo Airport
Toronto-area travelers sometimes find that flying out of Buffalo Airport (BUF) makes more sense than Toronto Pearson, especially when prices are significantly better on the US-side carrier or when connecting to a US destination. This page handles the ground portion of that trip: a private taxi from Toronto to Buffalo Airport.
The flat rate of $330 covers downtown Toronto, the Pearson Airport area, and most central GTA pickup addresses. Travel time is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours via the QEW and the Peace Bridge crossing into Buffalo. The actual time varies with border wait, weather, and time of day.
Every booking is a private vehicle reserved for your group, with no shared passengers and no detours. We recommend leaving Toronto at least 4 hours before a domestic departure and 4.5 hours before an international departure to allow buffer for the border and BUF check-in.
Passengers crossing from Canada into the United States are processed by US Customs and Border Protection. Every passenger needs a valid passport, NEXUS card, or enhanced driver's licence, and permanent residents should carry their PR card alongside their passport. Children need their own documents. We build border time into the pickup, but CBP processing is outside our control, so earlier pickups are safer on holiday weekends and summer mornings.

What Happens at the US Border
Heading into the United States, you are processed by US Customs and Border Protection rather than Canadian border services. The driver takes the lane, and every passenger answers CBP questions directly: where you live, where you are going, and why. Passports stay with each passenger rather than being collected.
Your driver chooses the crossing based on live conditions. The Peace Bridge is the most direct route to Buffalo Airport, but when it backs up, the Rainbow Bridge or the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge can be faster even though the drive is longer. That call gets made on the day.
US-bound waits behave differently from Canada-bound ones. They tend to peak on Sunday evenings, holiday Mondays, and weekday mornings when commuter traffic is heaviest. If your flight leaves during one of those windows, we will suggest moving the pickup earlier.
Currency, Payment, and Booking From Canada
All our fares are quoted and charged in US dollars, including pickups that start in Canada. The flat rate you see is the amount charged, and it does not shift with the exchange rate between booking and pickup.
Cash in USD and card are both accepted, with a 4% processing fee on card payments. Canadian cards work normally, though your bank may apply its own foreign transaction fee, which is worth checking before you travel.
Booking from a Canadian number works the same as from a US one. Call or WhatsApp +1 716-957-8900, or use the form on this page. WhatsApp tends to be easiest if you are on a Canadian mobile plan and want to avoid roaming charges while travelling.
One Price. No Surprises.
Your fare is fixed at booking. No meter running, no surge pricing, no border fees added later. What you see is what you pay.
